Tire label, it is very important. It is the user at a glance to identify your product. It is your product with the user to meet the letter of introduction. It is give the user’s first impression. It is a gorgeous coat of your product. It also contains important information on safety, logistics and product usage.
Tire tread label production process:
The most common method of printing labels with a UV flexography for colorful decoration and thermal transfer printing for any variable information. Select the glue is very critical because the label must remove easily from the tire without residue, while the glue on the rough surface of the tire must have a very good adhesion.
Vulcanization tire label, which is designed for tire identification, can withstand up to 200c temperature and higher for intermittent exposure time. The material is resistant to water, gasoline and solvents. It provides good image clarity with resin ribbon and good barcodes scan level. Label is designed to withstand the harsh environments of vulcanization (high temperature and pressure curing) of passenger and light truck tire environments. After vulcanization, label will strongly bond to a tire.
Suffixation resistance at 200 ℃, can be used before or after vulcanization curing, with superior adhesion and scratch resistance, vulcanization label adhesive formulation can also be adjusted according to different tread rubber composition and production processes to meet customers in order to achieve the best effect.

How much do Tire Barcode Labels Cost?
Since every tire manufacturer has their own unique processes, their barcodes will need to be engineered to withstand those processes. This means that prices will vary from application to application.
Most facilities spend between $10 and $15 per every 1,000 tire barcode labels, but where your facility falls within that range depends on several factors including: how your labels are printed, order volumes, customization needs and application method.
How your labels are printed will affect the overall cost of your order. You might choose to order your labels pre-printed or blank.
When you order your labels pre-printed you may be offered specialized technologies you can’t implement in house, and you receive the benefit of having your labels checked for duplicates prior to delivery. These are factors that will impact the cost of your order.
On the other hand, when you purchase blank labels the labels themselves will cost less than pre-printed labels, but ink, printer and labor costs will need to be factored in as well to best asses the best method for your budget.
Crystal-Code recommends purchasing pre-imaged barcode labels whenever possible in order to guarantee sequence integrity.
As with almost anything, as your order gets larger your overall cost will increase, however, consumables may be discounted if an agreement is made to purchase a certain quantity over time.
Whether you choose manual or automated, pre-cure or post-cure application will affect the cost of your labels. We special engineer our labels to ensure they are optimized for their intended application method. Meaning your application process might require special materials or alterations that could affect the overall cost.
If your facility chooses to make custom alterations, whether that be to the shape and color of your barcode labels, or by adding RFID capabilities, these changes will increase the cost of your order.
It’s not to worry however, since in many applications adding features such as these add enough value to your product to make up for the costs.
